I’ve been to fosdem this year and it was great. I was glad I could see some people I had not seen for years as they live in another country.

Why should I go to fosdem?

- The fosdem is one of the best place to go if you like free software.

What can I do there?

- You can go to highly technical conferences
- You can buy your favorite distro Tshirt
- You can get some points from cacerts.org in order to get free ssl certificates
- You can meet lots of geeks
- And I must forget lots of importants stuffs

I hope I’ll manage to come back in 2013 !

This serveur is now part of pool.ntp.org

As the title claims it, 94.23.194.56 is now part of pool.ntp.org. This means that many people in France use this server to synchronize their computer’s clock using ntp.

Why did I join the pool?

- Because I now have a reliable server (freebsd 9 is now stable). You should join the pool only if you really think your server will last long AS IS.

- The server has rather good uptime. I had no hardware problem for a few month (and former server was up for years).

- I need a good server for my own needs. That means if I have any trouble with my server, I’ll try to fix it or get it fixed quickly : I can’t read my own email nor chat with friends if my server is down.

Why should I join the pool?

- You should not unless you know what you are doing

- If you know what you are doing then we need you

- Don’t expect anyhing in return

- The ntp project website has rather good info.
